A fun and feminine event to celebrate the launch of the Makeup Geek x Kathleen Lights highlighter palette. The event was an intimate dinner party with a soft and romantic color palette of blush, roe gold and pops of fuchsia. The best of the best makeup influencers were in attendance to celebrate a fabulous collaboration between makeup geek cosmetics and Kathleen lights.
I had a blast at the Museum of Ice Cream. Right when we walked in the door we were greeted with some yummy McConnell’s ice cream. I loved all the art and of course jumping into the sprinkles. This was an experience I’ll never forget and I’m glad I got to share it with my best friend.
Sarah and Sam met in college at Ball State University. After graduating they moved to Los Angeles and both work in the entertainment industry. They are used to being behind the camera but I think they look great in front. Thanks to my roommate Cat and her boyfriend Ethan for introducing me this awesome couple!
Morgan and Michael’s wedding was at a private residence in Calabasas. I loved the pops of coral that are on the bridesmaids, the flowers, and the table settings. What I loved about Morgan and Michael were how laid back they were. They are so sweet and you could feel all the love their family and friends had for them. Two years ago I photographed Jaron and Chelsea’s wedding (the groom’s cousin) and last year I photographed Ashley and Paul’s wedding (the groom’s sisters). I feel really lucky that I’ve photographed so many weddings for this family.
Francine and David came all the way from France to get their engagement session done. I was super honored when they asked me to photograph it. It doesn’t get more southern California than a session at El Matador with the sun setting. The tide was super high and Tim and I almost lost our cameras! Francine and David toughed it out and by the end of the session we were all soaking wet! It was worth it, though. I’m so happy for this lovely couple and I hope they have a wonderful wedding next month!
