Jeffrey and Paul’s wedding was set at their beautiful, distinctive house in Berkeley, California. The couple, together for 20 years, wanted to host a celebration to welcome friends and family to their new home, designed by architect Ajay Manthripragada. What better way to commemorate the occasion than by tying the knot?!
Every corner of this couple’s incredible home is an expression of thought and purpose, creating the perfect backdrop for such a special and intimate event. Guests were treated to music played by Jeffrey and Paul’s talented friends as the couple walked down the stairs together to share their touching vows. There wasn’t a dry eye among the 125 guests as Jeffrey and Paul spoke lovingly to each other. Even the catering staff was crying and, yes, I was too!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails on the rooftop while Carrie from Boheme Tipi Events transformed the space below for dining al fresco beneath the twinkling cafe string lights. Long, elegant tables draped in white linens were adorned with timeless, impressively detailed florals by Jean at Fourth Street Flowers. The centerpieces featured stunning pottery created by Jeffrey, who is a specialist in ceramic art and 20th century sculpture. In addition to the splendid ambience, the meal itself was indescribably delicious. Catered by Standard Fare, every flavorsome morsel made an unforgettable impression. Guests also savored the beautifully presented, otherworldly desserts, crafted by pastry chef Carrie Lewis.
After dinner, guests filled the indoor and outdoor areas of Jeffrey and Paul’s home, dancing joyously into the evening. We are so thankful to have been a part of such a spectacular wedding.
